Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Make sure to measure accurately for best results.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can be substituted with milk or dark chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture. Beat until combined.
  • Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula or wooden spoon. Avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed.

Cooking

  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Scoop tablespoons of dough spaced apart in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the cookies for about 8-10 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the center is just set.
  • Allow the cookies to cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
