  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to achieve crispy skin.
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well-coated with the marinade. Let them sit for about 15-30 minutes for maximum flavor absorption.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

To make the chicken thighs even more flavorful, consider marinating overnight in the fridge. For a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the marinade.
