Ingredients
  

Chicken and Coating Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast Cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg Beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • as needed Cooking spray or oil For greasing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide, and place them in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to create the dry mixture.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg until well mixed.
  • Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

Coating

  • Coat each chicken strip in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess flour.
  • Dip the floured strip into the beaten egg, letting the excess drip off.
  • Roll the chicken strip in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  • Place the coated chicken strips on a plate or tray.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the chicken strips in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  • Cook the chicken strips for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they turn golden brown.
  • Remove the strips from the air fryer and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
