  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) Add for a spicy kick
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or cilantro)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  • Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Arrange the marinated drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other.
  • Cook the drumsticks for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check for doneness using a meat thermometer; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

Serving

  • Remove the drumsticks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
