In a mixing bowl, drizzle vegetable oil over the chicken drumsticks. Add smoked paprika, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until chicken is fully coated.
Place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Set the air fryer to 200°C (390°F). No preheating is necessary.
Cook the chicken drumsticks for 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
Check that the chicken is cooked through, with an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and a crispy skin.
If desired, brush with BBQ sauce and air fry for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
