Ingredients
  

Breading Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • 2 large eggs Beaten for dipping.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Prefably panko for extra crunch.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste N/A Salt and pepper

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cheese curds Cold for better breading.
  • N/A N/A Cooking spray To prevent sticking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Set your air fryer temperature to 400°F (200°C) to preheat.
  • Prepare three separate bowls for the breading station: One with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and the last one with breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Breading

  • Coat each cheese curd in the flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Dip the floured curd into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Roll the cheese curd in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure it sticks well.
  • Repeat for all cheese curds.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the breaded cheese curds in a single layer in the basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Air fry the cheese curds for about 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from air fryer and allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or buffalo. Chill breaded curds before cooking for best results. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
