  • 1 medium head medium head of cauliflower Cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko Panko adds extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water For the batter
  • to taste Olive oil spray or cooking spray For crisping
  • optional Fresh parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for optimal crispiness.
  • Wash and cut the cauliflower into uniform bite-sized florets.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water until smooth.
  • Place breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.

Coating

  • Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter, letting excess drip off, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  • Arrange cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring space for air circulation.
  • Lightly spray the coated cauliflower with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Cook the cauliflower bites in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove and let cool slightly before serving.
