  • 4 large carrots Peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the carrot strips
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • optional fresh parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into thin, fry-like strips to ensure they cook evenly.
  • In a large bowl, toss the carrot strips with olive oil until well-coated.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the spices evenly coat the carrot strips.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned carrot fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.

Cooking

  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Remove once they are golden brown and crispy. Let them cool briefly.

Serving

  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley and served with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the carrot strips in water for 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer to revive the crispiness.
