  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour Sifted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar For sweetness
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened At room temperature
  • 2 large eggs At room temperature
  • 1 cup milk At room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder For leavening
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract For flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt To enhance flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined and smooth.
  • Grease a suitable air fryer-safe baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Cooking

  • Carefully place the pan inside the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready.

Cooling and Serving

  • Once baked, carefully remove the pan and let it cool before slicing.
