  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Preparation

  • Start by patting the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  • Cook the chicken thighs for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer; it should reach at least 165°F (75°C).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
