Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed Use cold for best results.
  • 3/4 cup milk Add gradually to form a soft dough.

Optional Flavor Enhancements

  • garlic powder, herbs, or cheese For extra flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk gradually while stirring until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix; it should be slightly sticky.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Gently knead it about five times until it comes together.
  • Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Cut the dough into strips, then roll each strip into a spiral shape.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the rolled biscuit dough in the air fryer basket, making sure to leave some space between them for air circulation.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the rolls turn golden brown.
  • Remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
