Ingredients

  • 3-4 pieces Ripe bananas Choose bananas that are just ripe with a few brown spots.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Prevents browning and adds flavor.
  • to taste none Ground cinnamon Optional for extra flavor.
  • to taste none Sea salt Optional for seasoning.

Preparation

  • Peel the bananas and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  • In a bowl, combine the sliced bananas with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and sea salt, mixing well.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry the banana slices for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Adjust cooking time to achieve your desired crispness.

Cooling

  • Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and allow them to cool completely to gain extra crunch.
