Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt. Scrub gently with a vegetable brush and pat dry.
  • Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  • Coat each potato with olive oil, ensuring an even coating.
  • Season the potatoes with salt and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the basket of the air fryer, ensuring space between them.
  • Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the largest potato. If needed, continue cooking in 5-minute increments.

Serving

  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork, then add your favorite toppings.

Notes
