Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 links Italian sausages (your choice of sweet or spicy)
  • 1 spray Olive oil spray (optional for added crispiness)
  • to taste Fresh herbs, like parsley or basil (for garnish)
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (for serving, optional) Sliced
  • 1 cup Onions (for serving, optional) Sliced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • If desired, lightly spray the sausages with olive oil to enhance crispiness.
  • Place the sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other.

Cooking

  • Cook the sausages for about 12-15 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
  • Make sure the sausages reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Once done, carefully remove the sausages and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • If using, slice your bell peppers and onions. You can add them to the air fryer during the last 5 minutes of cooking beside the sausages.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve the sausages with sautéed vegetables, in a sandwich, or alongside a fresh green salad.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs as desired.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for best results. Feel free to experiment with sausage variants and spices. Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to four days, or freeze for up to three months.
