Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the peanut butter and sugar until well mixed.
  • Add the egg to the mixture and stir until all ingredients combine to form a smooth dough.
  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls.
  • Place the cookie balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.
  • Use a fork to flatten each ball slightly and create a crisscross pattern on top.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges look set and the tops are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
